For this assignment the primary aim is choose one of the themes below and develop a new digital product prototype that addresses a user need. The project team are expected to take the idea and develop it using the User Centred Design process. The idea will progress through the requirements, design, prototype and evaluation stages.
The themes are as follows:

1. Making things smarter
2. Making things smarter for the environment

With this digital product prototype you have the potential to create the user experience of tomorrow. Think about who will use the digital product, individuals, groups, wider society, or even a global society.

Your product or service idea should have a defined customer [consumer] need and suggested product/market fit. Your idea should offer a new solution to the customer need you have identified.
As you progress the project you will identify and develop a solution that addresses a user need and you will have the user feedback to prove that. At the end of the process you will have developed a prototype that clearly illustrates a user achieving a goal within the chosen theme.
